The Summer Camp takes place in the well-known Loire Valley, near the towns of Tours and Blois. The program offers a great opportunity for international students to learn French and discover the French culture. They attend languages courses in the mornings and participate in a variety of organized activities in the afternoons.

The intensive French language classes are designed specifically for the summer camp. Students enjoy lessons that target all areas of the language, but with a strong focus on speaking and listening. Participants take 3 hours of French per day in small groups and will receive a course report and certificate.

Participants will enjoy a minimum of 2 half-day trips during the week, carefully selected to maximize the exposure to French culture and history. On Saturdays *, a full-day trip is planned (may include Paris, Futuroscope, Puy du Fou…).
Furthermore, the afternoon and evening activities include sports, treasure hunts, games, movie nights, talent shows...he whole of Wednesday and every other weekday afternoons are dedicated to activities and cultural excursions in the area.
Participants discover beautiful Paris and its cultural treasures such as the Musée du Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay, Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower…They have the opportunity to wander in the charming Montmartre, admire the Château de Versailles, and have a fun day at Disneyland Paris!

Students can choose to stay with a host family or at the school residence.
|
Host family stay: host families are carefully selected. Host families may host one or two students (different nationalities) and participants may have to share a room. Breakfast and dinner are eaten with the host family and lunches are taken at the school’s cafeteria. On Sundays, students stay with their host families, have meals together and share the family’s daily activities.

Residence: students stay in the boarding house of a local school with full board. Room and bathroom are shared (2 to 4 participants per room / same-sex). Meals are taken at the self-service cafeteria in the school. On Sundays some activities are planned.

Arrival points: Charles de Gaulle Airport or train station.
All students should arrive within the established time frame on the indicated arrival date and will be transferred to the school where they will have an orientation to get them familiar with an new surroundings.
