School Life

The Italian educational system is quite difficult and expectations are high. Participants will be enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of the five years of the scuola superiore program; they will follow classes in a local liceo from Monday to Saturday morning. Classes include Italian, Mathematics, Sciences, Physics, Foreign Language (English, German or French), Geography, History, Physical Education... The school year runs from September to June.
School Day
• 8.30am to 1.30 - 2.00pm • Saturday classes may be allocated
|
Participants will live with an Italian family. Like family members they will share the family’s everyday life, participate in activities and adapt to the family rules as if it were their own.

Area Choice
| Urban Area
| Special School Request
|
WEP gives your students the possibility to choose the final destination of their exchange program.
Please note that the Area Choice may include different regions within the chosen area.
The Area Choice does not guarantee specific cities.
The program availability is limited.
|
Your students are highly motivated for a high school program in Italy but they are not comfortable with possibly being placed in a rural area with limited public transport.
WEP guarantees to place them in an urban environment (town of 40.000 inhabitants minimum, or quick access to a 40.000 inhabitant town).
| Your students would like to make a special school request (school grade or school subjects). WEP is happy to guarantee this option! Please note that whichever school request you choose we will also guarantee the school record transcript.
